It has been two years since I last updated the news section of my website, which is just crazy! I always suggest that people follow me on my social media sites because I'm usually posting on those sites much more often. Let me start off by announcing that after spending 2/3 of my life running Bad Stain Records, I recently stepped down as President and appointed my onkly child, Tabby Kills, as the new President of Bad Stain Records. It was something that really needed to be done in order to continue to provide the best service and representation to our current and future recording artists. I am now in my mid forties and not as familiar with the new younger bands, but I am confident that Tabby will do their best to make Bad Stain Records Great Again!
Tabby was interviewed by AIMS magazine, and the interview is in the June issue. I was also featured in the issue as a guest writer and I listed the top 25 Best Bass Players of all time, in my opinion. So pick up a copy of the magazine if you can find it. If not you can read the interview with tabby at: www.badstainrecords.com/article48.html and you can read my guest article at: www.badstainrecords.com/article47.html
I also wanted to let everyone know that I have sold out of copies of "The First Quarter". "The First Quarter" is my only full length album, and features all of the tracks from the "January", "February", and "March" EP's, as well as two exclusive bonus tracks. The album was released in late 2010, and just recently sold the last of the remaining copies. The CD has now sold 3,500 copies, and I have been contemplating on whether to repress the album or not. I will keep everyone up to date with what I decide.
Last, I have been really focusing on my artwork a lot lately. I run an art and jewelry wholesale business with my father, and we specialize in helping Native Amricans get their artwork into stores across the U.S., but I also sell my artwork to stores as well. This year I started The Skullduggery Collection, which is a collection of limited edition artwork incorporating genuine bison and steer skulls. I have been putting off recording my new music due to my art, but I promise that I will be recording my "May" EP in the near future. I have added a spot on the website to view some of my artwork, and it will be available to purchase online at the official Bad Stain Facebook Shop in the near future. You can also purchase art from my Skullduggery Collection at various stores throughout Arizona, including Pajarito's Happy Hogan at Frontier Town in Cave Creek.
Thanks to everyone out there that supports me, and I will do my best to keep everyone better informed and post news more frequently on my official website. Cheers!

Most people know that I don't have a very strong online presence. I'm taking a minute to update my personal website to let everyone know that I am very excited about the new instruments available from Bad Stain Noize Weapons, and the new and upcoming releases from Bad Stain Records. The new album from TBHFR is crazy original, and I suggest that everyone take a listen to the bands debut album, Dubstep: The Re-Awakening.
Bad Stain Noize Weapons recently released the first guitar head and amp, The Kingman (Powered by Electro-Harmonix) and The Yuma. The Kingman is a 100 watt solid state guitar amp with single tube preamp that is fueled with Hot Tubes technology from Electro Harmonix, giving it a tube like sound that is amazing and great for live shows as well as recording in the studio. The Yuma is a 300 watt guitar cabinet with four 12 inch speakers from Electro Harmonix. The half stack is really something special, and I am very proud of it.
Today is also the release date for the new Tempe Hybrid Electric/Acoustic Guitar. It is similar to the Fender Acoustisonic series of guitars, and features a Telecaster style shaped body made of mahogany, with a spruce top. The Tempe is the first guitar from Bad Stain that is not a limited edition build, and will be made until we decide to stop at some point.....if that day comes. It is also an active guitar, featuring two exclusive pickups, the Tapeworm and the Magnetar. Check out more about the Tempe by visiting The Armory.
Last thing I want to mention is the upcoming ARIZONA LOCAL LEGENDS COLLECTION. This is a project that I am very proud of and excited about. The ALLC will give new generations that chance to hear the bands that they missed out on because they weren't around, and will be a blissful throwback for many local music supporters who are now middle aged. The first volume is nearing completion and should be available by the late summer...... featuring one of the valley's greatest bands..... Generiks.
For more details, visit the Bad Stain website and the Facebook and Instagram pages. For the fans wondering when I will be releasing more music.... I hope to start recording in late 2022 and have some new material by 2023. Although who knows. As for live shows, I imagine I will start performing live again in 2023.... but again..... who knows. Thanks to everyone who sends love and support and I hope to be back in the full swing of things soon.

It's a new year, and I have high expectations for 2022. I'm humbled to say that AIMS Magazine has named me as one of the Valley's top five bass players. I have to admit that I do find it sort of funny that it's the first time that I have been given any honor for my bass playing, and it happens when I'm not playing bass in any bands. You can read the article in the January issue of AIMS Magazine, or online in the "Press" section, or HERE.
I'm also really excited to announce that Bad Stain Records will be releasing a new series of albums called THE ARIZONA LOCAL LEGENDS COLLECTION, with the first release from the legendary local punk band, The Generiks. You can learn more about it at the "AZ Local Legends" section on the official Bad Stain Records website.
Bad Stain Noize Weapons also released a new pickup, the Banshee Humbucker. You can learn more about the new humbucker in "The Armory" section of the official Bad Stain Records website.
I'll be keeping everyone up to date on my various social media pages and on my official website. Please take the time to check out my new Spotify page.

Check out the new interview that I did with Valley Frequencies Magazine in the PRESS section, just CLICK HERE to read it now. I want to say thanks for all of the love, and I really liked the way that it came out.
I also want everyone to know that Bad Stain Noize Weapons has released some really amazing new killer products, including the BSNW Hypersonic Corvette. The Hypersonic Corvette is a limited edition build, and an exact replica of the limited edition Gibson Corvette, featuring BSNW Mach Nine Hypersonic Series Humbucking Pickups, that give the guitar a scorching hot tone. BSNW is only making nine copies of the guitar, so buy yours asap at The Official Bad Stain Records Facebook shop.
I also want to say thanks to everyone who purchased a copy of my new "April" EP. I know that it's not the greatest thing that I've ever released, but I promise the next chapter in my "Month" series will be solid!
Some of you may have noticed that I recently released all of the tracks from "The First Quarter" in digital format, and I have been releasing lyric videos for most of the songs from the album. Check out The Official Bad Stain Records YouTube Page to check out the videos, and celebrate the holiday season with the new lyric video for "The Night Before Christmas in South Phoenix", performed by my first band, Dirty Laundry.
I also started a Spotify Page for my solo material and could use everyone's support. So please add my music to your playlists and show me good lovin'! Visit The New Official Chase Stain Spotify Page.
Last, I wanted to tell everyone that Bad Stain Records has some very exciting news that will be shared in early 2022. So make sure to check back in 2022 for the announcement that loyal fans of the local music scene are sure to love.

So it looks like there are a few small problems with the new website, most notably the "Biography" page that cannot be properly viewed on the mobile website. I'm making some changes to the page, and hope to have it ready in a week or two. The good news is that I have added several pages to "The Journey", and will continue to add to that section of my website on a weekly basis.
My new EP CD hits stores on May 28th, and it has a limited pressing of just 500 copies, so if you want to ensure that you get a copy, buy it quick! The CD is available at the official Bad Stain Records Facebook Store at www.facebook.com/badstainrecords/shop. This is my first release in over ten years. The "April" EP is the fourth installment of my "Month" series, and contains four original tracks, as well as a cover of Screeching Weasel's "I Wanna Be Naked".

Here it is! The new and improved Official Chase Stain Website. Bad Stain Records has also created a newly designed official website, and also websites for my former bands, Dirty Laundry and Numbers On Napkins.
You may be thinking that I just made a typo when I stated that my "former" band was Numbers On Napkins, but the sad truth is that NON has officially decided to throw in the towel, and everyone in the band is going their separate ways. I wish Moe and Tad the best of luck, and they have been like brothers to me. I have had some of the greatest adventures of my life with NON, and although I'm sad to see the band go, I'm excited to start a new phase of my career.
Numbers On Napkins will be releasing a new Greatest Hits album later this year titled, "NON Essentials: The Best of Numbers On Napkins", and the album will feature fan favorites, as well as a couple previously unreleased tracks as well. The new CD will be available August 27, 2021, so visit Bad Stain Records in a few months for all of the details.
I also want to thank all of the fans who supported NON throughout our years, as well as all of our sponsors. Thanks to every band that we had the honor of performing with, and anyone in the business who helped NON in any way during our career. I sending you all "Thought Hugs" using my mind.
With all that being said, be on the lookout for my new EP CD to be released on Bad Stain Records in the summer of 2021!
Last..... please let me know if you notice anything wrong with the new website..... Please note that "The Journey" is under construction and incomplete. I am working hard to correct any issues as soon as possible. Like I said, The Journey of Chase Stain is currently under construction, as I am currently writing the journey. Please check back every week when I had new additional content!

It's finally a new year, and we managed to survive 2020! For many people, 2020 was the hardest and most stressful year of their lives, and although it wasn't the worst year of my life, it was a difficult year that was full of various challenges that I was forced to overcome. We should all be thankful for what we have, and I hope that most of us have become wiser and stronger from all of the rough experiences and assorted obstacles that 2020 produced.
I want to thank everyone who has supported my music recently. NUMBERS ON NAPKINS latest album, "Waiting for Tomorrow - Deluxe Collectors Edition" has sold an amazing amount of copies, and I'm so happy that so many fans out there have purchased copies of the album, despite the fact that NON hasn't performed a live show in nearly 8 years! NON's other recent release, the full length album "From Buckeye To Beardsley" has also sold very well, and continues to sell a few copies every month, despite the fact that it was released back in 2019, Your support means the world to me, and thank you all for such kind actions.
2021 is starting off to be a good year for me. Bad Stain Records just released the limited edition 3 disc box set, "Harmonies from the Hamper", from my very first band, DIRTY LAUNDRY, on January 2nd. Even though DIRTY LAUNDRY broke up way back in 2002, fans have been asking for music from the band for several years, and I'm happy that I was finally able to give DIRTY LAUNDRY fans what they have wanted for so long. Sales have been far better than I could have ever imagined. As of last night we have run out of copies of the first pressing, and have sold about a dozen copies of the second pressing. Fans should order their copy of the box set fast to get the lowest pressing possible and ensure that they get a copy. "Harmonies from the Hamper" has a limited press run of 2,000 copies, so I'm sure it will be available for several more months, if not years,,, but it would be better to be safe than sorry.
Bad Stain Noize Weapons also released the latest instrument to the arsenal of music equipment we sell. The LIPSTICK STAIN LES PAUL is an amazing electric guitar, that is capable of generating a wide variety of tones, making it a vital weapon for any musician in the recording studio. The guitar was actually built for my daughter, Nova Kaine Stain, and she helped me design the guitar. It's a great guitar for any beginning guitarist that is ready to become a more serious player and in need of a high quality guitar. The LIPSTICK STAIN is a limited edition build, and only 12 guitars will be manufactured. So musicians should contact BSNW and order as soon as possible. Check out the guitar at The Bad Stain Noize Weapons Armory!
I have a lot of plans for 2021, and Bad Stain Records will be releasing some great music from several artists! NON will also be releasing something in 2021 at some point, and I will be releasing another solo album for the first time in ten years! Plus, Bad Stain will be introducing a new music series that I'm sure people will love, especially those people who reside in Arizona. In addition, BSNW will release another Noize Weapon at the end of the year, and Bad Stain will also be introducing new merchandise! Remember, you can stay much more up to date if you "Like" Bad Stain, NON, and DIRTY LAUNDRY on Facebook, and/or add me as a friend

Hello to the masses online..... I really don't get around often enough on my official website, and for that, I am sorry. I wanted to let everyone know that my band NUMBERS ON NAPKINS released the 15 Year Anniversary Deluxe Collector's Edition Re-Issue of our debut album, "Waiting for Tomorrow" late last summer, and reviews have been super kind. Pick up a copy online at The Official Bad Stain Records FaceBook Store. You can also buy brand new Bad Stain shirts, sweaters, beanies, hats, and stickers, and a new shirt and sweater design will be available in November.
I will also be releasing my solo album, "April" in 2021, so keep your eyes open for that! My very first band, DIRTY LAUNDRY is also releasing a special limited edition 3 disc box set, titled "Harmonies from the Hamper", on January 2nd, 2021. The 3 disc box set includes the entire catalog of Dirty Laundry's music, as well as a biography of the band, song lyrics, band member information, stickers, posters, a discography, and more! The box set has a limited pressing of only 2,000 copies. The first pressing is only 100 copies, each copy hand numbered, second pressing is 200 copies, each hand numbered, third pressing is 300 copies, each hand numbered, fourth pressing 400 copies, each hand numbered, and fifth and final pressing is 1,000 copies. So make sure to order your copy fast to get the rarest pressing available!
Other than that, Bad Stain Records continues to release kick ass albums from all of our artists, and Bad Stain Noize Weapons will be releasing a brand new limited edition guitar that musicians are sure to love! Expect the guitar to be released in December of 2020!

As the COVID-19 bullshit gradually starts to fade, we get hit with all of this fucking rioting! Holy shit, it's so goddamn hot, I can't imagine wanting to riot right now! Let me remind everyone out there that rioting is not the answer, and I strongly suggest that everyone demonstrate their frustrations by protesting peacefully. At the same time, I understand how frustrating this bullshit is, as I had hoped that the system had started to get better when it comes to these asshole cops with small dicks and big egos, still bitter because people like me kicked their asses back in high school and now want to teach the world that they can't be fucked with.
Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that I was recently interviewed by the lovely Ashley Harlem, and the interview was one of the best that I have ever done. I really enjoyed myself, and I felt that Ashley asked smart and interesting questions. It was a lengthy process, and the interview was split up into three parts. Part one of my interview can be read in the June issue of Valley Frequencies Magazine. For those of you that don't live in Tucson or Southern Arizona, feel free to read the first part of the interview by going to the "Press" section of my website, or by clicking HERE. Once again, I want to say thank you to Ashley so much for doing such a great job, and also say thank you to Valley Frequencies for including the interview in their publication.
